I've had my concealed carry permit for a few years but haven't done early enough training to make it truly useful. I'm embarrassed to admit that since obtaining the permit I have never actually carried my weapon. I could provide a list of excuses for this but in the end none of them are acceptable. This needs to change. So I want to develop my skill at using my handgun for self-defense, increase my comfort level when it comes to actually carrying. I've got a couple of options, which I'll elaborate on a little later. 04/26/13 Update: Completed the 2-day Cornered Cat class with Kathy Johnson last weekend. Kathy is an excellent instructor. The course was well worth the time and expense.
