improve my finishing skills. Our house came with no window trim and basic composite doors and trim. I bought trim, stairs, doors, and floors for the house. All of it is red oak and the only thing that was finished was the 3/4" thick flooring which was done in gunstock. So I had to stain all the trim, doors, and floors with gunstock colored stain and poly it. This was a huge improvement to our home and I've learned a few things about finish work!
Our deck needs repair here and there, and I have all the basic tools for doing it. Just have to set aside a weekend to give it a go.

House building With the new house being built over the footprint of the old one, there is going to be alot of steps I have not participated in before.
